2010 Winter/Spring Season of Dance Classes
This season we will continue to offer
quality professional performing arts
training for children age 2 years old
through adults. We have created a
wonderful schedule which offers lessons
evenings and weekends.  We also have
many lesson packages available for
children with our Youth classes.
For adults we have many classes geared
to get you in shape while having fun and
dancing away the pounds. This session
we will also be taking trips to see
professional  dance and Broadway
companies. At this sessions end we will
have a huge recital and award ceremony.

soul line dancing.

Stretch & Strength
Stay healthy by strengthening those
muscles and working target areas,
then gently stretch each muscle in

Class Policies & Information
Payments- All payments must be made before class. Students are not permitted to attend classes with fees due.
Students who are dropped off without payments will wait in the lobby until parents return.
NO REFUNDS for any
payments made to the studio, including dance wear, dance shoes, tuition payments, registration fees, or deposits.
Tuition payments are due the 1st Saturday of every month. Tuition payments may also be divided in half and paid
on the 1st & 3rd Saturday of every month. Sibling discounts vary based on number of children and class packages.
Parents, Visitors, & Guests- All parents, visitors, & guests must wait in the lobby area during classes.
Siblings- Younger siblings must not wait after classes for older students. Living Arts is only responsible for
students during class times. Students who are not picked up at the appropriate time will be charged $1.00 per
minutes after 10 minutes. Fees must be paid before the student may return to class.
Uniforms- We want to teach the importance of proper dance etiquette. All Living Arts students are required to
wear Living Arts uniforms and dance shoes to attend classes. All dance gear must be purchased from Living Arts.
Students must have dance uniforms by October 4th. Uniforms cost $30.00 which includes 1 leotard, 1 pair of
tights, & 1 skirt. Level 1 will wear pink, Level 2 will wear blue & black, & Level 3 will wear lavender & black.  Please
consult with staff regarding your child’s level.
Recital & Awards Ceremony- Living Arts will have one recital & awards ceremony on June 19, 2009; it will be
held at a large performance theater. Further information will be provided at a later date.
Recital Costumes- Living Arts will have one recital on June 19, 2009; costume fees are $40.00 per class. (Ex. If a
student is registered for Tap and Jazz, they will owe $80.) The costumes for each class are posted in the studio
lobby. Costume payments will be divided in half, with the 1st half being due February 7, 2009 and the 2nd half due
April 10, 2009. Two Living Arts Little Caesar's fund raisers will be held where students earn $5.00 for every item
sold, these profits will go directly to each student's individual costume fees. Should a student not participate in the
fund raiser or not sell enough to cover their fees then the payment will be due in full or the difference will be due.
Students who sale over their costume fees will have their additional funds applied to recital tickets.
Outreach Performances- Living Arts is determined to provide performance arts to our community so we will have
free outreach performances throughout the year in facilities such as nursing homes, hospitals, etc. Students are
encouraged to participate, however these performances are not mandatory.
Holiday Showcase & Party- Living Arts will have a holiday showcase in the studio December 19, 2009 for each
Class Level.  This will allow parents to see their children’s growth & progress mid-year.
Picture Day-Picture day will be held twice a year, Fall: October 24, 2009 and Spring:  May 15, 2009. Fall pictures:
all students must be in full uniform. Spring pictures: students will be provided with group recital costumes. On both
picture days students must have hair pulled back into a bun with no barrettes, bullies, braid, or beads.
Parents Night Out- Evening activities will be scheduled to allow parents to do holiday shopping and have an
evening out. Information will be provided at a later date, these events will cost $10.00. Students will have an
evening dance class, then participate in activities, arts & crafts.
Winter Holiday Camp- Living Arts will offer a Winter Holiday Camp from Monday, December 28, 2008- Thursday,
December 31, 2009, 8am -6pm. Camp will include a full schedule of Dance, Theater, Music, and Arts & Crafts
classes, ending with a trip on Friday. $75.00 tuition is due in advance by Saturday, December 6, 2008.
Days of Dance- Living Arts will offer days of dance on Martin Luther King Day January 18, 2010 and President’s
Day February 15, 2010 from 8am -6pm, including lunch, dance class, arts & craft, other activities.
Trips- Living Arts is dedicated to exposing children to the performing arts, this year we will attend several
performances and professional Broadway productions. We hope that students & parents will be able to attend.

Summer Camp 2010- Living Arts will provide a full summer camp packed with exciting trips, dance, theater, music,
arts & crafts. Please look for detailed information regarding early registration, discounts, and scholarships to be
provided at a later date.
